It's been ages since the last time I read a teen fiction book. Don't know whether due to that reason, this story became so impressive and touching to me.
It reminds me of all the best time I used to have with my friends, most of whom now was so far away that we could hardly meet or talk to each other again. It also recalls that how struggling life is, and that we have to fight non-stop to look for brighter days ahead. If we could overcome all the troubles, we would have chance to end up with a happily-ever-after ending. If not, thanks God for letting us go on this journey of life and we would finally end it at the right time.
One of my principle is to say no with any kinds of SE. Never have I chosen a book or movie which had chance to draw me deeply into desperation. However, this time I wasn't lucky since my favorite character had to die at the end. It was just so painful that I doubted I'd have courage to wait for the movie which would be released 2 yrs later.
Finally, life is rough!
